“Thevoice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of theLord; Make His paths straight'”. This loud proclamation is how St. Mark chooses to begin his his writings on our Lord, Jesus Christ. When we look at the symbol for his Gospel, we see that it is the Lion. His introduction to his true writings and his accounts with the lions in the desert alongside his father makes it clear why he is attributed to the Lion. As we ponder the writings of St. Mark, let us be changed by his account of our Lord. Let us all take advantage of our lord knocking at our gates and welcome him to hold supper in our homes. We hope this crewneck serves as a reminder of not only the truth of our God but a constant invitation of the Lord into our hearts.
