"it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus". This is how our teacher St. Luke begins his writings on our Lord in which he chooses to proclaim to all his perfect understand of the revelation of God. When we look and ponder the writing style of Luke, we see how he shows forth as a reminder the very purpose of our Lord's incarnation, his death on behalf of all for all. This is clearly why we attribute the calf to his writings. We hope this crewneck serves as a reminder of God who willingly became a sacrifice for all. We also hope this reminds us all of the doubt of Zachariah in which the angel responded to him saying "Do not be afraid for your prayers have been heard". Let us pray in this confidence that our Lord not only loves us but hears us when we pray to him in all humility.
