On Holy Tuesday, our attention is brought to Jesus' teachings concerning the ten lampstands, representing the churches and their role in illuminating the world with truth and righteousness. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of spiritual vigilance and readiness in anticipation of Christ's return. As we do not know the hour nor day nor time, we must always “Hold fast what you have so that no one may take our crowns” (Rev 3:11). As we consider Jesus' messages to the churches, we are encouraged to evaluate the state of our own spiritual lives and strive for faithfulness and integrity in our walk with God.
